This is an early Frank Capra outing based on the Broadway comedy starring Joe Cook. Peers inherits a circus that’s about to go under. Cook portrays the manager who pitches in by putting on a one-man juggling and tightrope-walking show.
Despite the fact that Frank Capra wanted to showcase the talents of Broadway comedian Joe Cook he quixotically he cut all the musical numbers to focus on Cook’s personality.
